KIM WERKAU
Kim is beginning her third year at the helm of the Bellevue Community College
Volleyball team. Kim also coaches for Northwest Junior Volleyball Club located
in Bellevue where she works with the U18 team. She is also Northwest Volleyball’s
Adult Program Director and Assistant Club Director for Northwest Junior VBC.
Prior to coaching at BCC she was head coach at Kent-Meridian High School, and
Assistant coach at Evergreen High School plus volunteer coach at Sumner High
School. She has worked at and organized many different camps and clinics in
the Sumner and Bellevue areas. Kim played college volleyball at Central Washington
University from 1998-2001 where she was a middle blocker and team captain 2000-2001.
Kim is Gold Medal Squared trained which is the newest style and form of volleyball
being adopted around the world today.
KATIE ORGILL
Katie is the head Volleyball Coach at West Valley High School in Yakima, Wa.
This is her 6th year coaching at the high school level. Katie was an assistant
volleyball coach at Central Washington University in 2002. Katie is Gold Medal
Squared trained and has adopted this style of volleyball for the past 5 years.
She played for 4 years at Central Washington University where she was an outside
hitter and captain for all 4 years. Katie still holds the all time dig record
at CWU with a career of 1222 digs. She is also 3rd in career kills at CWU. She
as organized and coached at several summer camps in the area.
